About The Role

Your role as Sales Manager:

As the Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of our sales team. This is a dual role that involves managing a team of Business Development Executives (BDEs) responsible for lead generation, as well as being accountable for achieving revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities

Team Management:

    • Lead, coach, and mentor a team of six Business Development Executives (BDEs) to achieve individual and team targets
    • Provide ongoing training and development to enhance the skills and performance of the BDEs
    • Set clear objectives, monitor progress, and provide regular feedback to ensure the team's success

Lead Generation:

    • Work closely with the BDEs to develop and execute lead generation strategies, focusing on identifying and qualifying potential clients in the target market
    • Monitor lead generation activities, analyse performance metrics, and optimise processes to maximise efficiency and effectiveness

Sales Performance:

    • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for IDHL Performance's digital products and services
    • Drive the sales process from prospecting to closing, including client presentations, negotiations, and contract management
    • Collaborate with senior BDMs to support their sales efforts and ensure alignment with overall business objectives

Relationship Management:

    • Cultivate strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders to understand their needs, address concerns, and deliver value-added solutions
    • Act as a primary point of contact for clients, providing exceptional service and fostering long-term partnerships

Market Analysis:

    • Stay abreast of industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation
    • Utilise market insights to inform sales strategies and product development initiatives

What we'd like you to bring to the role:

  • Proven experience in sales management, preferably in a technology-driven environment
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve results
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive and results-oriented approach
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with LinkedIn Sales Nav and Pipedrive would be beneficial but by no means essential
