About The Role

As Senior Recruitment Administrator you will report directly to the Head of Talent and will be responsible for contributing 50% of your time to headhunting candidates for the wider team and the other 50% to independently work on specific roles with support and guidance.

If you have some experience within a recruitment setting but are hoping to transfer your skills into a Talent Acquisition team, then this could be the perfect opportunity.

Location: You will be expected to work from our Leeds office twice a week.

Responsibilities:

  • Allocate 50% of working hours to actively headhunt and identify high-quality candidates for various positions across the organisation, utilizing diverse sourcing methods and networking platforms
  • Collaborate with the Head of Talent and team members to understand talent requirements and priorities, aligning headhunting efforts with the team's overall recruitment goals
  • Assist in building and maintaining a talent pipeline of potential candidates, ensuring a continuous pool of qualified and diverse talents for future hiring needs
  • Utilise effective communication and relationship-building skills to engage with prospective candidates and create a positive candidate experience during the headhunting process
  • Devote the other 50% of working hours to independently manage the end-to-end recruitment process for assigned roles, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and selection
  • Receive guidance and support from the Head of Talent in developing effective recruitment strategies for their assigned roles, tailoring approaches based on specific requirements
  • Work collaboratively with hiring managers to understand role requirements, clarify expectations, and align candidate profiles with organisational needs
  • Maintain accurate and organised candidate records within the applicant tracking system (ATS) to ensure data integrity and compliance with recruitment protocols
  • Participate in training sessions and learning opportunities to enhance talent acquisition skills, stay updated on industry best practices, and become proficient in recruitment tools and techniques
  • Embrace a growth mindset and actively seek feedback from the Head of Talent and team members to continuously improve recruitment capabilities
  • Contribute to talent acquisition projects and initiatives as assigned by the Head of Talent

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Prior experience in recruitment, or human resources (even if minimal)
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • Strong interest in talent acquisition and a desire to pursue a career in recruitment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with candidates and internal stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing recruitment practices and technologies
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively
  • Proficiency in using basic recruitment tools and platforms
  • High level of professionalism and the ability to maintain confidentiality

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with headhunting and passive candidate sourcing methods
  • Knowledge of applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment software
