About The Role

Your role as Paid Social Account Manager:
 

As a Paid Social Technical Account Manager, you’ll play a key role in managing a portfolio of clients across multiple social platforms alongside a variety of budgets. This will combine an audience first approach with creative optimisations off the back of data insight.

In addition to client work, the Paid Social Technical Account Manager is responsible for coaching, mentoring and developing the junior team.

Anyone coming into this role will be supported from a technical point of view and will have the opportunity to help shape the products we use, the way we communicate and how we deliver paid or organic social to our clients.

Main Accountabilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of clients paid social and organic social accounts across multiple channels
  • Conduct calls with the client and sales to discuss and plan campaigns
  • Setup, implement, track and optimise social campaigns across several markets
  • Undertake audience research, analysis and strategy
  • Complete creative research, analysis and strategy
  • Provide cost estimates and ensure robust budget management
  • Ad Copy writing and testing
  • Prepare and deliver monthly reports & have monthly progress calls with clients
  • Analyse social campaign performance and recommend next steps for all reports
  • Be responsible for, and targeted on the success of social campaigns and client KPIs
  • Be responsible for providing KPI-focused reporting
  • Work closely with other teams within the organisation to ensure we deliver consistently across the board.
  • Work alongside suppliers and platforms to make sure we are up to date on new products and best practice
  • Understand the objectives of, and participate in creating quarterly reports, client decks and future roadmaps in line with the agreed KPI’s
  •  Delegate tasks to executives on shared accounts

Essential

  • Meticulous attention to detail, a perfectionist with a very analytical mind
  • A strong understanding of audience and targeting skills.
  • Strong time management skills to ensure deadlines are consistently met and proactively managed

  • Be a technical point of contact and confidently share knowledge
  • Displays exceptional traits of ownership and accountability
  • Be a confident presenter – frequently reflect on opportunities to develop and share experience with those more junior
  • Considerable experience in a Paid and Organic social role from an agency or in-house position
  • Display advanced knowledge of data manipulation, with a clear understanding and application of data downloading, formatting and analysis
  • Be able to implement solutions based on advanced knowledge of common metrics within paid and/or Organic social
  • A strong knowledge of Excel is essential
  • Confidently builds roadmaps and advises on client strategy in line with agreed KPI’s, without guidance or support
  • Confidently manages a portfolio of medium to large sized clients delegating tasks appropriately
  • Passionate and have a keen drive for the industry e.g. day to day and/or industry changes
  • Identify new development opportunities to improve service
Desirable
  • Continuously support peers and those more junior
  • Mentoring and coaching for less experienced team members
  • Work on expansion opportunities across upcoming social platforms 
  • Be a master of different interfaces such as Google Ads, Microsoft etc
