About The Role

As the Client Service Team in the Web Division @ IDHL grows the structure is also evolving to include Team Account Directors.

Team Account Directors are a pivotal part of the structure and not only will be responsible for a handful of their own clients, but they will also head up a team of Senior Account Managers, Account Managers and Account Executives.

Reporting into the Services Director, a Team Account Director will be an excellent communicator at all levels, expected to have a pro-active approach to growing existing clients’ business through developing mutually respected relationships with key client and internal personnel.

You will be expected to lead by example and fully understand all agency products and services. You will also need exceptional attention to detail when navigating through agency processes.

Your role as Team Account Director:

  • Building and maintaining positive relationships with clients and ensuring clients understand the full spectrum of services provided by the agency, have regular review meetings, resolve issues, keep up-to-speed with their requirements, understand their business, recommend appropriate digital solutions and maximise the revenue potential for the agency
  • Supporting clients in developing digital roadmaps
  • Providing line management support for the Account Managers
  • Mentoring and supporting the Account Managers and Account Executives, ensuring they are fully and adequately briefed on client projects and are managing client requests in a timely and professional manner
  • Conduct Quarterly 121’s with Account Managers and Account Executives
  • Consistently generating account growth from existing clients in order to achieve your individual and team monthly targets for revenue from existing clients
  • Consistently achieving your monthly individual and team production targets by managing client work through the business smoothly and efficiently in order that invoicing plans can be achieved
  • Maintaining a full understanding of company processes, policies, guidelines and contractual obligations and ensuring these are consistently followed

A Team Account Director will have:

  • A strong eye for detail to ensure the quality of agency output is at the highest standards
  • A strong digital background, understanding web development methodologies and digital marketing channels & opportunities
  • An ability to develop a deep level of familiarity of clients’ own business and the industries in which they operate
  • Ability to develop excellent client relationships at all levels and comfortable in presenting strategic proposals to senior level clients
  • Commercial in your approach you are able to identify opportunities and execute a plan to increase agency revenue
  • A natural nurturer you enjoy mentoring team members and developing their skills
  • Accountability for not only your own, but your Team’s Revenue Targets
  • A strong communicator both internally and externally with a proactive approach to client and team management
  • Comfortable in developing written strategic proposals
  • Preferring to work in a fast pace environment

Skills and Experience:

  • Proven track record in relationship management in marketing / digital with at least 4 years’ experience
  • Proven knowledge of digital, including UX and design, website development and online digital solutions
  • Proven knowledge of brand, business communications and the wider marketing mix
  • A proven record with large, complex website builds
  • Ability to deal with challenges effectively and see them through to conclusion.
  • Be able to create and manage forecasts by client for turnover, fee and profitability
  • Experience of mentoring and managing a team
